Rajesh Bansal, CFA® brings 15 years of experience in loan originations and structured finance expertise to the firm. Most recently, Rajesh served as a Portfolio Manager at DoubleLine from 2018 to 2023, where he managed a $12 billion portfolio of Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) and Whole Loans for a variety of investment vehicles, including mutual funds, a hedge fund, and opportunistic private funds. Prior to DoubleLine, he was a Senior Director at TIAA/Nuveen from 2014 to 2018, managing $3 billion in CMBS portfolios for insurance and total return mandates. Rajesh also served as a Portfolio Analyst for structured products at White Mountains Advisor, overseeing ABS/CMBS/RMBS/MBS investments for insurance companies, and gained valuable experience as an Analyst at both Bloomberg and NewOak Capital. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Rajesh is a CFA® Charter holder.

Vivek Tiwari brings 17 years of expertise in loan origination and structured finance, specifically within the Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) industry. His career spans both buy-side and sell-side roles. Prior to joining Quiq Capital full time in January 2022, Vivek served as Vice President at the D.E. Shaw Group for nine years, leading the firm's commercial real estate investments, including CMBS and REITs, with a focus on opportunistic credit. He also honed his CMBS expertise as a strategist at Amherst Securities Group, where he modeled, analyzed, and generated trade ideas, and as a CMBS researcher at Citigroup, where he began his finance career. Vivek holds a Doctorate in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

David has led operations, loan servicing, and investor relations at Quiq Capital since 2021. A serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience, he has scaled and exited ventures in corporate lending, equipment leasing, healthcare, and data security, creating more than $200 million in value through fundraising, M&A, and product sales. David launched Quiq after observing how frequently businesses struggle to secure growth financing from traditional capital providers —a challenge he had often encountered in his earlier ventures. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.

Matthiew Mendonca joined Quiq Capital full-time in August 2022. He is responsible for new loan originations, credit assessment, underwriting, and asset management. With seven years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Matthiew's expertise spans both buy-side and sell-side roles. Prior to Quiq Capital, he spent six years at Brookfield Properties and Brookfield Asset Management, a $750 billion New York-based asset manager. He possesses an extensive background in real estate development and investments, notably valuing underlying retail assets for Brookfield's acquisitions of GGP and Forest City in 2018. Earlier in his career, Matthiew worked at CBRE as a Consultant in the firm's Financial Consulting Group and began his career at PIMCO. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College.

Ashish Parikh focuses on expanding Quiq Capital’s real estate lending strategy and contributes to the firm’s overall investments, finance, and accounting practices. Prior to joining Quiq Capital, Ashish served as the Chief Financial Officer of Hersha Hospitality Trust ("HT") for 25 years. During his tenure, he successfully navigated their re-IPO in 2003 and later facilitated their private sale to KSL Capital Partners in 2023 for $1.4 billion. At HT, he oversaw growth to 80 properties, focusing on premium branded hotels within the Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, and Hyatt families, as well as independent hotels like the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia and the Parrot Key Hotel in Key West. Earlier in his career, Ashish was an AVP in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group for Fleet Financial Group, gaining expertise in capital raising, leveraged buyouts, bank syndications, and venture financing. He also worked at Tyco International, Ltd., and began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young LLP. He currently serves on the board of the Philadelphia Real Estate Council and on the Advisory Board for M&T Bank. Ashish holds a Master of Business Administration from The Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Davis Shean leads the initial analysis and underwriting of loans originated through the Quiq Capital platform. He brings six years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, encompassing development and investments, and one year of experience as a credit risk analyst for a solar energy company, where he analyzed commercial real estate properties for solar viability. In addition to his investment and credit background, Davis has operational experience assisting several small companies, playing a key role in growing and maintaining revenues, assets under management, and investor returns. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Carolina.
